Course Overview

The Aerial/Elevated Work Platform training program consists of a 4 hour classroom theory session presented at your company’s location or at one of our training centres. This program is designed for new or experienced operators. Each operator will receive a 30 minute evaluation to assess safety awareness and competency on the equipment.

  • Applicable legislation and guidelines

  • Causes of accidents

  • Safety awareness

  • Operator responsibility

  • Pedestrian awareness

  • Powerline Clearances

  • Stabilizer systems

  • Capacity Plates

  • Control systems

  • Fall Protection (equipment specific)

  • Pre-shift inspection

  • Safe operating procedures

  • Work site inspection

Practical Training

Practical training is required for all new operators prior to practical evaluations. Contact us for more details.

Fall Protection is required for attendees who do not have a up-to-date Fall Protection Certifiicate – Click here for more details

Upon successful completion, the operator will receive an Aerial Work Platform Certificate which is valid for 3 years from the issue date.
