The forklift operator training course is designed for both an individual with no prior lift truck training and those operators with previous forklift experienced. Lift Training’s forklift training course covers the required elements of the “initial classroom training” as required by OSHA regulations (CFR 1910.178) and includes training on Counterbalance forklifts, Reach / Narrow Aisle Lift Trucks, order pickers and pallet rider trucks. This initial classroom training is the first step in gaining full forklift certification. In order to be fully authorized to operate a powered industrial truck, the operator would have to receive practical forklift training and an evaluation of the operator’s performance in that particular workplace for each type of equipment they will be authorized to operate.
Upon successful completion of the initial classroom forklift training, the student will receive a Certificate of Completion.
